I know this is an absurd question but I think I need the help?

I just finished reading wuthering heights and honestly quite moved by it. Now, the next thing on my schedule is Godfather by Mario Puzo. I usually try not to read two similar books in a row. So I was wondering, how long should I wait to have the first digested and begin the later without being repelled by it.
