Question:

How Do You Find Auditions for A Big-Screen Movie?

Where or how do you find out when people are doing auditions for movies going to the big screen?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Agents, I believe, subscribe to a service called the 'breakdown'. They get it daily and it's a list of everything in preproduction in the industry and what is being sought after for each project.

I'm sure when a movie goes to film on location, there will be an open casting call for extras in that area. But as for the major roles in a major movie, I would think you would need a good agent who thinks you're similar to what they are looking for to send you to an audition.

Take method acting classes, get a beefy resume going for yourself and showcase yourself in places that agents frequently scout. The brunt of major film casting (and the agents that send you to film audtions) are in LA. If you want to shoot for major movies that's where most everyone has to go at some point.
