Question:

Where online can I find objective history lessons that focus on major events and people?

I'm looking for 2 topics:
1. American History
2. World History

Are there resources that focus on the key players like the US presidents, Einstein, U Grant. Some information on Marylin Monroe, Maya Angelou is alright, but I'm looking for a source that doesn't have 2 pages of Monroe and 1 paragraph of Einstein.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There are several sites on the internet that have information on historic people and events. I think the best way to find specific information is to do a web search for that specific person or event and then pick the websites that have the best information from the many that pop up. Or you could do a search for a general topic (i.e. American history, U.s.presidents, etc. ) However, there are many websites that generally have good information on several topics. Here is a list of a few that you may want to check out.
