Any good novels i should read?

i need a good read, i've been craving a good book for a while.
My taste varies, but i loved East of Eden, The Great Gatsby, i also loveddd the Harry Potter Series, The Notebook, Tuesdays with Maury
anyy good suggestions?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Sonya Hartnett is one of my favorite YA authors because she writes with realism. I like how her books don't always have those phony "happy ever after" endings that a lot of YA books have, or really any books in general. Her books are strong and her characters stay with you a long time after you've finished reading her books. Some of her titles are:

Sleeping Dogs
Wilful Blue
What the Birds See
Thursday's Child
Surrender

The above are all good but my fave is Sleeping Dogs. It's about a family (mother, father, five children) who run a caravan park in rural Australia. An artist comes to stay at their park and finds the family interesting and mysterious, especially the beautiful older daughter. He sets out to discover their secret and does so, to a shocking conclusion. I highly recommend it.
