Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I play bass. I started when I was in the fifth grade and joined our school orchestra. Practice, practice and if you can afford private lessons--get them! I played bass in various musical theatre orchestras as well as in college and high school Don't give up your dreams. You have to work hard to acheive them. In high school try out for the orchestras. We had all city and all state and I was in all city for a couple of years. Good luck!
