I just got a Pentax K1000 camera and i loaded the film but now the rewind bottom

I just got a Pentax K1000 camera and i loaded the film but now the rewind bottom will not work. PLZ HELP?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The Pentax K1000 is an all manual camera, so you need to do a little bit more to rewind. Turn the camera upside down and find a small button to push. Then try the rewind knob. It should work now. If it still doesn't, then the film might already be rewound. Or your camera might not be working. For either possibility, do not open the back of the camera unless you are in a totally dark room. Better still, take it to a camera store or film developing place and ask them to do it for you. Good luck! It's a good sturdy manual camera.
