Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Quality is difficult to measure and prone to subjective interpretations..... quantity is easy to appreciate without debate, as long as quality is not too obviously negative or sub-zero! Also, when it comes to life, one can argue that every experience counts and that is all that life is about..... there is some merit in that except that health ought to be reasonably OK, or else a longer life would only be a bigger curse!! Having given that justification, let me, however, quickly state here that I personally do look for quality rather than quantity and indeed would hate a longer life without peace and purpose. |
