Question:

Any good duets out there for two males?

i'm in oral-interp and compete in forsenic tournaments. I've looked for a number of duets and i have even cut down some plays into duets but i can't seem to find a good duet that's funny and is perfomed by two males. I've looked towards neil simon but does anyone know of anything funnier. Something HILARIOUS. Anyone know of any funny duets for two males? thanx

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: This year my high school performed an off-broadway musical called "A New Brain" by William Finn and and there are several duets between two men. I'm not sure if you're familiar with it, but it's about a song writer (Gordon) for a children's show, involving a singing and dancing frog (Mr. Bungee), who ends up in the hospital with brain tumor (i think) and he has these ridiculous hallucinations having to do with sadistic nurses, his boss, his boyfriend (yes, he's gay), and even more singing, dancing frogs. Most of the duets are between Gordon and another male character. There's one between Gordon and his boyfriend called "Sailing" and another between Gordon and a male nurse called "Poor, Unsuccessful, and Fat". I suggest that you look into it. It's a hilarious musical with amazing music. Good luck in your search!
