Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Good question, you get a gold star! It's hard to pick though, there's so many! I love Steven King, and a lot of movies based on his books are atrocious. Ever heard of Maximum Overdrive? If not, thank your lucky stars.

As for classics, I really did not like the Tess movie that was based on Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy, one of my favorite books. I think it won a few awards but I found it unbearable. The BBC version, however, is amazing!
