Question:

Which art school should I go...?

Hi, I live in Philadelphia. Actually, I came from foreign country, and I want to get a certificate or degree in illustrate, graphic, or web design. Do you have any suggestion about which program and school should I go? What market is benefit for finding a job?

If you don't mind, can you leave your contact information because I really want to go to school, but I didn't know the school in U.S that much.

If you can't. That's okay. Please still help me answer my question. Thanks a lot.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, it depends on what you want to focus on. Illustration and graphic design requires a traditional art background (studio), while web design is more technology based and requires a background in programming/computer science.

There are many good design programs in colleges across the country. It depends on how far you are able to go, and how much money/resources you're willing to spend.

Here are some quick searches for design programs in the Philly area:

Search for universities in the area you want to go to school in, and see if they have a design program. I would suggest uni over an "art only" school, because you get a more balanced and practical education. Design is business, too.

Good luck.
