Recent grad, should I take this photo job?

i've been offered a job in Minneapolis taking portable studio photos. i am a recent college graduate and will be making the move to the big city. they are offering me 8-10 dollars an hour to start. its expensive to live in the city, 800 for rent plus everything else. should i take it since im a newbie, ask for more money, or wait till something better comes along?
