Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Watch this film. It is worth it. One of my favourites.
I am not going to answer all your questions because if you watch this film, then you will easily see what the answers are, and I wouldn't want to discourage you from watching this film.

The main issue that 'Gattaca' raises concerns genoism. The story is about eugenicist social policy and discrimination against persons based on negative assessments of their genome. Jerom-a genetically enhanced man-permits Vincent to take on Jerom's identity for a price. The main message of the story is that human nature is too complex to be reduced to genetics. The influence of the human spirit is stronger than the influence of genetics.
