If you get married at the Justice of the Peace and still have brides maids an guests???

I don't want to get married in a church or outside so my friend suggested Justice of the Peace. I want to have brides maids and family and all that like a normal wedding. Can you do that if you have your wedding there???

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I understand that in some countries it is customary to have all weddings at the court house because it is just too expensive and or the communities just don't do weddings in churches, But they still do a big celebration with the reception including bridesmaids and grooms men, You can follow their lead. Only take the best man and maid-of-honor with you to the court house with parents and a few others, and then have a big reception and give all the of the brides maids and groomsmen little jobs to do at the reception like toasts, announcing certain dances, announcing the cutting of the cake ext... You can also give these people little jobs for the bridal shower and the bachelor party. You can be as creative as you want, it is your wedding. Anything goes. You can also have someone video tape the actual ceremony at the court house and play it as the wedding party walk into the reception. I wish I could be your wedding planner, I have so many ideas, I can go on for ever.
