I think you are going to need a list of at least 300 names to put every single nation, tribe, city-state, kingdom, colony and faction that the Roman Nation defeated.

It is said that from the time after Rome was sacked by the Celts to the consolidation of Octavian in the 28 BC that the doors of the Temple of Janus were closed for only 3 periods. In Roman tradition, that means the Romans pretty much engaged in non-stop warfare for almost 300 years.

And every odd-year or so, a "triumph" was declared by the Senate, which meant that the city celebrated the victory of one of his Generals. That's like 150 conflicts from tribal conquest to major wars that Rome won in that period.

Now, here is a generic list of major events of conquest, although I would indicate that some many points could indicate some 20-30 tribes or city states:

1) non-allied Latin Federation, including the legendary Sabines and such
2) the entire Etruscan city-states and federations
3) Samnian nation (Central Italy)
4) Cisalpine Gauls (or Celts that lived in the Italian Peninsula)
5) Magna Helena (all Greek city states in southern part of the Italian Peninsula)
6) The Sicilian nations, including those who were native to the island, the citizens of the Siracusan City-state, and the punic city states
7) The southern Transalpine Gauls (all the Celt tribes living in the French Riviera and the areas around southern France)
8) All of the native and celtic tribes living in Iberia and Lusitania (Spain and Portugal)
9) The Berber tribes of North Africa, named at the time Numidians and Mauretanians
10) The Illirian nation
11) The City state of Carthage (first MAJOR conquest)
12) All the greek city states in Thracia, Attica and the Peloponesus, with the supposed exception of Sparta and Athens
13) The nation of Macedonia (second MAJOR conquest)
14) Every single minor city state located in the Anatolian Peninsula, including the Hellenistic nation of Ponto
15) The Hellenistic nation of Syria, including its Phoenician cities
16) The Jewish kingdom of the Macabees and every single minor city state located around the middle east
17) The entire area known as Gaul (modern France and Belgium), including all its celtic tribes and several germanic tribes
18) Egypt
19) All the celtic tribes located south of Hadrian's Wall in modern Great Britain along with some located to the north (the Antonine Wall)
20) Many incursions and tacit hegemony over all the Germanic tribes located along the Rhine River (although the disaster at the Tetroburguer forest left the Romans with no desire to expand into Germany)
21)The Dacians (modern SW Rumania) \
22) Lybia
23) All the Germanic areas south of the Rhine, including modern Baviera and Austria, along with a great part of what its today Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania
24) At one time, the Romans did defeat their nemesis, the Parthians and conquer all the lands of Mesopotamia, including Babylon. This conquest lasted until Emperor Trajan lived.

Under Trajan, Rome achieved its biggest extension ever. Rome would add some areas, like modern Switzerland and Southern Scotland, but they would never amount to the size of the lands ruled by Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, Marcus Aurelius and Commodus.
