Question:

How much is this set worth?

I have 10 books: The first page says CLASSIC LIBRARY
THE WORKS OF ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON.
I have Treasure Island, The Master of Ballantrae, The Dynamiter, The Merry Men, Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde, Prince Otto, New Arabian Nights, Kidnapped, The Black Arrow, A Child's Garden of verses. They are green hardback books with red bands where the writing is(on the binding). I bought them fairly cheap at an estate sale, so I am curious as to what they may be worth. If you need more info you can email me from my profile. Also, if you do not know the price if you know any helpful sites I would also appreciate this!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: As far as I'm aware the Classic Library set of books that you purchased may not have a high value but they sound like a good collection of books to own if you are interested in books. When you say an estate sale do you mean an auction? Have you any idea when they were published? I imagine if they were a valuable set of books you would have been charged a lot more money. I'm not certain that Classic Library is the name of the company that published the books ... one of the pages at the beginning of the books may give you a bit more information.
