How do you unwrap a charcoal pencil with a string?

I have a charcoal pencil with a string around an inch below the tip of the charcoal. I need to unwrap it since i used up the tip, but im not sure how to. Please explain in detail how to unwrap the pencil to reveal a bit more charcoal?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Pull the string down so that only one section of the paper wrapped around the pencil is cut through. Carefully with your fingers/fingertips or a pair of twezers (if you have big hands)pull the paper off. It should come off from the string toward the tip of the pencil. Do it slowly because quickly may pull the top of the charcoal pencil off.
