What are some good ideas for portraits for little boys....?

besides all the cookie cutter ones already out there....

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: when i was a little boy (my lovely and talented wife will argue that i still am, but trust me this was over 50 years ago), the town photographer took some portrait pictures of me in his studio, i was wearing a little suit and no tie (guess i threw quite a fit over the tie) there is a halo of light around me and i actually look like quite the little royal prince, in sepia (now).
i remember the big wooden camera with the billowes and glass negative plates clicking and clacking. and that insaine flash of light everytime he said to look at the birdy and he'd point up at something to the right and high and every time i'd look and then FLASH...i kept looking for that birdy and he wouldn't say where it was...until he was ready for another shot.

i photograph children where they are, playing and being themselves in their own little world, they are wonderful subjects, and a little dirt on the face or clothes is not a bad thing, really...some of the best ones are of boys covered in mud dragging in "creatures from the deep" much to mommy's horror...and the picture of mommy's face is quite priceless too.
