Carnegie Mellon
Boston Conservatory
Hartt School of Music
New York University
Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory
Ball State University
Ithaca College
Westminster Choir College
Shenandoah Conservatory
Belmont University

These are not the only good programs, they are just known as some of the best. If money isn't a concern, I highly recommend any of these schools. However, some of them are as high as $30,000 a year. What you can do is learn about the schools and see if there is a state school in your area that offers the same curriculum and has good teachers. I agree with the other poster who said its good to go somewhere where you can be on the stage. Many of the bigger name schools have lots of competition. There are shows to do outside of the school, but that also takes work to arrange.

Start a list of schools you are interested in that may not be the "big name" schools, and ask around about them. There are a lot of good programs out there.
