Question:

Easier to publish... A Novel? Or a Graphic Novel?

I don't know much about the publishing world, but based on what your average bookstore at the airport has on display, World War II espionage thrillers seem to be a popular genre.

But with graphic novels being all the rage today...

What would be easier to get published? A NOVEL about a World War II espionage thriller? Or a GRAPHIC NOVEL about a World War II espionage thriller?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A novel, because there are more publishers looking for fiction novels than there are for graphic novels. Also, you would probably have to hire an artist, because most graphic novel publishers want to see the drawings along with the words. Tom Clancy, and Nelson Demille, are one of the world's best authors of espionage thrillers, and their books sell millions of copies.

You could do what Stephen King did with "The Dark Tower." Write the novels first, and then re-publish it as a graphic novel.
