Could someone tell me the major differences between photoshop and microsoft digital image? thanks in advance.?

i'm trying to decide on a good editor with a lot of possibilities (for effects), if you know of a better one than these two, feel free to advise, thanks :)

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you're on a budget, MS Digital Image is pretty good, but Adobe Photoshop is the premier image working program.. If you hope one day to get PS, I would get PS Elements instead of MS.

MS does have a thing I like. To rotate an image, you can click on a line that you want straight, and the image automatically rotates and crops. On my "crooked horizon" days, that is a real time saver!
