Question:

Update on the Wedding photographer who lost the role of film!?

After your answers I checked with the photographer and he was in fact using a digital camera, my mom misunderstood, however his excuse was that the developer ruined that section of photos. On the upside the photos I got came out great. The photographer said he would touch up any snap shots that we wanted to compensate for losing the pictures.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: what?! that makes no sense. i am a pro photographer; i use a digital camera. the developer (whether person or chemical) could not ruin a section of photos.
digital images are saved to a camera card.
i transfer all images from the camera card to my computer.
i save the images on 2 CDs
i make MINOR changes to any images that might need it (pro photographers get it right when the image it snapped)
i upload pictures to my pro printer
IF my printing plant messes up the prints, i always have my 2 CDs (and the files on my computer) to revert back to.

it sounds like this "pro" photographer either messed up when taken the pictures (underexposed or out of focus), or--i'm not sure what else. didn't save them to CD and had an online error when uploading them to his printer?

i would get some of your money back. however, you probably signed an agreement ahaed of time saying the photographer wasn't responsible for any loss or damage to the photos.
