Question:

If destiny were was something real...?

then if a person who was destined to die horribly at the age of 17 or 18 would they feel like they were called to do anything with there life or would they just feel like everything was useless and wander around aimlessly until they met their death? Would our destiny shape the way our attitude is and thus lead us into our direction? Does God have a way of wanting us to get to a certain point in our lives that he works around by doing certain things based off of our decisions? This is more for the people who believe in destiny than don't. If this seems too negative then replace 'death' with 'buying a puppy' and 'wander around aimlessly' with 'become more affectionate towards puppies.' I'm basically just wondering what some people out there think about how written in stone our lives are and how much of it God shapes.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I believe God has a plan for us.
By mistake, some of us are thinking they can decide for their lives. They hurry to meet their death and hurt themselves and all the people who love them - and this is terribly wrong. But who am I to judge?
Our God left us free will, so we can choose his way or the dark way, which is not convenient at all.
