Question:

Why people who drive humongous cars like to park in the parking space marked "compact?"?

Aren't the gigantic cars supposed to make those who drive them feel a false sense of self importance and superiority in general? Or the car actually make their ego smaller that they have to park in the space for compact cars? Or, their cars were too tall and they couldn't read what's written on the street? Or, they just couldn't bend their head? Or, it's simply that they can't read? What do you think?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: What country are you in? Parking spaces are marked "compact"? We don't have that here. It seems to be that people with massive egos & gigantic vehicles to match usually do the obnoxious thing & park diagonally across a couple of spaces just so no one can park near them. As if they don't take up enough space already!

I have a small car to match my little ego so I don't take up too much room in the lot.
