I have an Acrylic Painting and I'm wondering if the room it is displayed in needs some type of temperature control ?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Acrylic paint can break down in extreme heat, like unairconditioned storage units. It melts and gets sticky. Room temperature will be fine for your new painting. Humidity is the biggest killer of acrylic paintings because the humidity can make it mold under the paint if it is not totally protected. So, don't hang your new painting in the bathroom.
