Using adobe photoshop for black and white with some color pictures.?

I am trying to figure out how to do this... I don't want to have to paint the color back on though...can anyone tell me step by step a simple way to do this...? Thanks so much.

I don't have a scanner....it is a laptop.. I am using a color photo.
