Question:

Why did Ender keep trying to get past the Giant's Drink?

in the book Ender's game

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Because he couldn't. The Giant's Drink was a game that was supposed to teach the children how to face the impossible. It is an important lesson, to know one's limits. That game was the first time Ender came up against something he couldn't solve. His solution was then one of the things that made him perfect for the military's purposes; he ran across an impossible situation and found a way through it regardless.

You might notice that that is a theme in the book. If I recall correctly, the won an impossible situation three different times in the book (which then could be said to be sending a message that there is nothing humans aren't capable of overcoming).
