Question:

Isn't it really true that in reality nothing really matters except what we think?

Example: There is no heaven or hell. You are here, then you die, so, in the end it doen't matter if you are a murderer or rapist. It is all a matter of personal comfort and what you want to do with the time you have until you die.Others not liking you is no reason not to do what you want to do.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Does this not mean that you should be kind and courteous to everyone? Seeing as by this very realization you should also realize how small and insignificant you are. If the greatest force is always destined to intervene and get what it wants, should we not strike a common contract between us all to be considerate of what others are trying to do to avoid and reduce the odds that someone bigger and more powerful will interfere with our own plans?
