Question:

What do you make of the last two lines of these lyrics?

Forgive me, I'm sorry, believe me
Stop hating, stop hurting, forgive me
Forgive those who harm you
Do good for those who hate
Forgive, if not forget
I know it's not too late
Forgive me and you'll discover too
That the love of your love is you

What is your interpretation of the last two lines?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: M㡲gar㩴, are you grieving
Over Goldengrove unleaving?
Le㡶es, l㭫e the things of man, you
With your fresh thoughts care for, can you?
??! 㡳 the heart grows older
It will come to such sights colder
By and by, nor spare a sigh
Though worlds of wanwood leafmeal lie;
And yet you w㭬l weep and know why.
Now no matter, child, the name:
S㳲row's spr㭮gs 㡲e the same.
Nor mouth had, no nor mind, expressed
What heart heard of, ghost guessed:
It 㭳 the blight man was born for,
It is Margaret you mourn for.

That's Gerard Manley Hopkins saying it, much more eloquently.

All grief reflects your own pain. When you forgive someone else, you relieve your own pain. When you learn to let go, you simplify your life.

May the compassionate Buddha smile upon you.
