Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Goodness it's years since I read that. I remember enjoying it very much.I suppose it is the postmodernist's perfect thriller.
What wonderful characters in it :- Mike Fallopian, Oedipa, Genghis Cohen. Pynchon's spoofs are researched to within a centimetre of plausibility. An original novel, it's the blueprint for others to follow.
