What do you think of this poem?

oh i remember the days long past
when being myself wasn't such a crime
when i didn't have to hide
what i listened to
or who i loved
when my wrists were unmarked
unlike the checkerboards they are today

but remembering hurts too much
so i let the pain go
i watch the blade go across my wrist
and the blood flows freely
i feel not so bad
for once, i dont have to hide
what i do
or who i am
when i cut,
i am free
i am alive

its sad, and i tried, so is it good emo poetry?
(its my first attempt)

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's good because it speaks freely of intense feelings, but it was very difficult for me to read because I am a "cutter".
