Question:

Photoshop CS3?

For a beginner/intermediate wildlife photographer, is it worth the huge price tag or is there something a little more moderatly priced that could do what I need. I'm not looking to make anything cartoonish. But I want to be able to make good shots look amazing. Also I don't want anything I'm going to "outgrow" too fast just to leave me wishing for more powerful software

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You have such a huge investment in your lenses already, you must be on a mac and cheese diet.

Try Adobe Photoshop Elements 5. It has all the features you will need for quite a while. It is true that you will not have the advantage of Bridge for editing your XMP files, but until you make the kind of money that will justify the difference in cost (less than $100 for Elements vs. over $700 for CS3).
