Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: One of the greatest and insightful writers of Russia. I read his books years ago and was amazed at his intensity. I must admit I had trouble with his novels-the names drove me crazy. I'll have to reread them now that I am a bit order (a bit older-don't think I should lie to you.) He wrote with such depth and passion. Russians are so emotional as writers.
