Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I love the pure element of escapism in the books. The world of the idle (British) rich and their earth-shaking problems... betting on the wrong horse, accidentally getting engaged to the wrong woman, getting roped into Aunt Dahlia's latest scheme... and I just get the biggest kick out of the way Wodehouse turns a phrase. What genius.
My all-time favorite story is Crime Wave at Blandings. I have to re-read that one several times a year, it's THE funniest story I've ever read.
