Question:

Is there any imagery in the poem...?

Is there any imagery shown in the sonnet "How do i love thee? let me count the ways" by elizabeth browning. i absolutely love the poem and have a hard time recognizing imagery... any suggestions? what imagery is used in any of the lines in this sonnet?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, there is. For instance, there is a metaphor based on the notion of measure ("count") in the first line, which is developed in the second line with the words "depth and breadth and height".
