Question:

Did the Tudors have knitting?

I can't find any details about knitting in about 1600 ish Tudor england. Did they have knitting then? If yes, what styles would they have had? Wool or cotton, yes.
Many thanks

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes knitting has been used throughout history all over the world and examples of knitted garments have even been found with mummified remains in China, South America and the pyramids of the ancient Egyptians. The Elizabethans used it for undergarments and there are various records of people knitting whilst watching executions.
