How can I become a director for musical theatre?...I have musical theatre training...so how can I get started?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You have to come up with a whole plan including budget, sets, etc. and submit it to local theatres before they make their decisions on shows for their next season. Some theatres have submission forms on their websites you can use as guidelines. Now is a good time (but you'd have to hurry!) since many theatres announce their season in August or so.
