Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I was recuperating in the UCLA Hospital, from a bombing. I lived at the hospital for 3 years. So, I took acting classes and singing classes, because I was bored to tears. I wanted to audition for the movies, but I did not know how.
One of the famous directors, told me to check every morning, in the city's licenses and permits office. Every movie or stage show has to have a lot of permits to film in the desired location. Most offices will even give you a copy of the permits and who requested them (they have to pay for them), or if they will not copy them for you, ask to see the list and you can copy the ones that interest you.
I was always the first one on the set (6am), I always had the 1st audition (the Director had to step over me to get to his office), and most important, I LOOKED THE PART. I have been in 19 well known movies. The next one I am speaking in, I will get my S.A.G. Card. Good Luck and don't give up
