Question:

Does anyone have any poems about doors that they are willing to share?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A crisp white gate stands
Surrounded by bushes of rose
Almost faded, but still a bit
Rusty on the edges.

A shiny wooden doorway
Into the parents?? bedroom
Still traces of infantile crayon
Markings from years ago

A wide cathedral gateway
Sparkling with stained glass
Bold and beautiful
Through it He will pass

All of them are exits
Into a different place
A room, a church, a garden plot
A black hole and empty space

But every exit is just
Another place to begin—
Wherever you??re going to
Is another place you??ve been.
