Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There are several:
Marbury v. Madison - estabished the supremecy of the Court over Congress.
There's one about a clock on a railway platform - I don't know the name - it established limits of civil liability.
Dredd Scott - slavery's last gasp.
Brown v Bd of Education- desegregated classrooms
Roe v Wade - women's right to abortion
There's another one that forbid interracial marriage (Plessey v Ferguson???)
There's lots. Check around.
