I get a task about writing a essay about Australia early settlement histroy. We have to choose 2 colonies from different typies (convict colony or 'free' colonial settlement) from NSW, TAS, QLD, WA, VIC, or SA. I am not sure which two of them are easy to discuss. Can you tell me? Thanks!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I would write it on Sydney our first colony that was a convict colony or Perth that started out as a free colony but eventually had convicts to help establish it.
