Question:

Can I stack a polariser over an IR filter? and would it make any difference?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You can stack a PL , but for what ?

Only if you are using "regular film", if you are using infrared film or video IR function, InfraRed Filter blocks the entire visible spectrum, your will capture ONLY "warm" areas.
Polariser will be for nothing.

And, when you are using polarizer filters, only the "linear" must be "turned" to block reflexions, the "circular"PL, is used on auto-focus cameras and the polarising area is always the same.
