Question:

What does it mean to be too moral?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Morality simply means traveling the path of absolute truthfulness. When God Almighty made human being in the image of God... he never desired human beings indulging in wanton desires and materialistic riches beyond a limit. But the animal instinct that exists in every human being made human beings travel the path where even angels fear to tread!

What was once a means... has become an end! Most human beings as of date do not practice morality in day-to-day affairs of life. True morality is practicing godliness all the time! In a materialistic world to expect people to become too moral may not be wise... yet, whatever we do not practice... we expect of others! In the present ephemeral world... speaking of morality is considered insane.

Using dubious means... One who gathers riches beyond requirements is not only considered wise but morally sound too! In the present circumstances... who can bell the cat? Whatever is preached in the sacred scriptures... the Jaina doctrines, the Buddhist scriptures, Bible and Koran is too moral! Practicing such morality in day-to-day affairs of life would not earn bread-and-butter for the day. In the circumstances... can we continue practicing morality as is being preached in the church?

In the present Kali Yuga phase of life (the darkened age) when relationship amongst individuals is at its lowest ebb... morality has relatively changed its meaning! What was once considered sin is no longer shameful! Science has progressed... so has humanity... values have changed! Even the churches are involved in scandals world over. The preachers of morality failed to maintain standards morality once stood for! More on Truth - http://www.godrealized.org/the_search_fo...
