I read this book by Carl Hiaasen - Skinny dip.. i couldnt put it down i read the entire thing in 5 days.ever since then ive been reading lots of books.My question tho is i didnt really understand the ending when her husband was left by the everglades/forest and was found by the man who help the girl he shot who he had an affair with...then what ...did he kill him? because he did say no one will find him..or did he live after trying to kill his wife ,shot the girl he had an affair with ( but survived) and his bodygaurd...

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have read most of Hiaasen's fiction, with the exception of the brand new one, Nature Girl, and Basket Case. I agree, Skinny Dip was great. As to your question, I think that is the implied ending, that the man in the Everglades did kill the husband. If you have read other Hiaasen books, you will recognize the man in the Everglades--he is a recurring character in many of them, and that provides additional evidence as to the fate of the husband. If you have not read any others, you definitely should.
