Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Ranking the 3 brands you mentioned, I would rank Yamaha first, then Armstrong, and DEAD LAST, Jupiter!

As a flute teacher, I can say from experience that Jupiter flutes just don't hold up. Their sound gets airy pretty fast, and it's hard to fix. I personally play a Yamaha, and highly recommend that brand!!!
