Question:

My daughter has a reading task at school, can you help? Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman. Please read on

My child has to read Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman. She only read up to chapter three and found she couldn't understand the book. She was meant to try to finish it, so could anyone (as I haven't read it) help out as she has to explain what happens in the book to the class! Oh dear.... Explain some little details, in a childish manner so she could perhaps read your answer as it is. Thankyou so very much. Much appreciated.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: My advice as a teacher, is that if she asks someone to tell her what to say, she will definitely get caught out and will get into trouble for lying. If she is finding the book too difficult she should just say so - her teacher will probably reward her honesty.

How long has she been given to complete the book?
