Question:

Essential places for a photographer to visit in NYC?

I'm going to NYC next month for a few days and I'd love to find some places that would be really interesting to shoot (besides the ones everyone else shoots photos of, like the Empire State Building). I plan on going to Central Park where the John Lennon memorial is at cause I love him. Anyway, anyone have any ideas? Thanks muchly. :)

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Flat Iron Building
Empire State Bulding
Staton Island Fairy
Statue of Liberty
Century 21 Retail store (across from Ground 0)
Ground 0 (Twin Tower Site)
SoHo
Sears Tower
Fith Avenue
Central Park
Time Square
RadioCity Music Hall
See an off Broadway production (get tix from the 1/2 price ticket line in Time Square)
Get on the subway and just go, you can always find you way back easily...you can tell by the look of the station if you want to get off there or not...good looking and well kept usually means good place dirty and gross usually means bad place to get off.
Walk to the Warf

As you can see NY is filled with things to do and see.

Have a great trip!
