Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: In San Francisco I've seen them at Flax Art & Design. You can order from their website (I use them, they are great).

Also online, try misterart.com. I can't vouch for them as I haven't used them yet, but they have a very good selection of sketch books. Good luck!
