How is the book Eragon and what do u think about story & about the author.?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It was okay, to tell you the truth. It was a pretty good story, but I think it got too caught up in the details to flow really well. It's a pretty classic story, but there are some twists in it that were pretty refreshing. Some of it was frankly stale.

But as the series goes on, the author's writing style is improving. From Eragon to Eldest, the style smooths out a little, but he's still in love with the tiny details of this world. Definately worth picking up at some point. And I'm definately waiting for the last book, just to see what he does with the characters. I'll be interested in any other series he might write, too. As he gets older, he can only improve.

And, yes, it's better than the movie. ;)
