Dreams, Broken - opinions, pls?

My dreams broke on the ground
Never heard a pleasant sound
From anyone around
No nice word have I then found

My dreams lay torn apart on the floor
Many illusions slipping away by the open door
Some people stepped on the pieces once more
Breaking them into smaller pieces, till their feet were sore

I tried to put my dreams back together again
But the pieces were dispersed ina windy rain
Nobody cared about my pain
They ruined my dreams even though nothing they would gain
