I have been accused of being a predator because I listen to Goth, Emo and Metal music and write poetry. Personally I find this attack on my character to be repugnant. I, being the victim of sexual assault myself and working with a non profit that works with battered and abused women to be even more vile. I would never attempt to meet with anyone on this site who was not wq and could prove it. For the record...I am 48. I have been married to the same woman for 26 years and yes, I love her, and yes we have our ups and downs like any couple. But as far as ever hurting any child...I would never do that and if anyone felt mislead by me I offer my most heartfelt apologies. I can't help what thought creep into peoples minds, but I have been honest with everyone from my own abuse right through my own battle with depression. 98% of what I write is autobiographical, the other from a fertile imagination. I do recieve requests for poems and I'm happy to oblige. Thanks

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Steve you are not a predator of any shape size or color; you are the most kind person that i have met on this site or any site// You have been 100 percent to all of your self being abused at an early age ; and how that hurts and tears at the soul; as it should as we are human being with feelings. I too was abused at an early age of 6 till 8yrs old and that does seep in our souls and depress us as it hurts still. I know that you are the best poem writer to me and others on this earth as your poems come from the heart. yes about you being married for 26ys you have also let that me known .. whoever said this about you being a predator does not know you at all as that is like a slap in the face to you.someone who must of gotten jealous of your beautiful writing skills and tried to bring you down to their level. but it won;t work as you are not nor will ever be a predator....you are one fine and kind man and we all know it... As for listening to goth or emo music and metal that says nothing of what kind of person you are; and to me 'suggesting things about that are just plain crazy period. I like some goth and emo music also so what does that mean; that I'm a predator also; i think not..I wanted to say thank-you for the poem yesterday you were so kind to write it .don;t let these haters try to mess with your head with this garbage which they insinuate as that;s all it is ;is straight up garbage.... take care and i;ll be waiting till i see one of those fantastic poems again ;as you are the greatest writer of them.Edger Allen Poe has nothing on you and your poems... lots of luck and take care and i;ll be waiting for some-more masterpieces as all of your poems fit that bill ....
